There was once a pineapple on top of the sea.
From whence it came, I could not say.
All faded and silver, a diamond to me.
Soaked in salt on a beautiful day.
Reason spoke to let it be.
But how could I pass and let it lay?
Fate led me here and made a decree.
For all your work, a worthy pay.
So take a breath and get down on your knee.
Take it home and along the way,
Stop in the shadow of a great palm tree.
Resting and thinking of miracle bay.
